Our Little Trooper

Andrew put up a good fight against the doorframe, but in the end the doorframe won.

Although the doorframe did receive a small dent; Andrew received a HUGE knot.

Poor guy...

Allow me to clarify what happened...

Andrew has a ball he LOVES to kick. It's about the size of a basketball, but much softer and lighter. He was running at top speed and tried to kick it. He missed, got tangled up with the ball, lost both legs from underneath himself and charged head first towards the door.

BOOM!

WUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

He actually took it like a little trooper.
There was a bit of initial crying, but it seemed to stem from fear rather than shear pain. A few minutes passed and he was fine, or rather, not crying. A bit of tylonol, an ice pack and a cookie fixed him right up.

Man, kids are amazing...I'd still be sitting in bed crying if that happened to me.
Oh and this happened on my watch...Michelle was at a meeting.
Luckily, Michelle understands our sons gracefulness and gave me no grief
